I've previously talked about the series and started documenting my tools and the workflow. I'm still working on a plan that I can properly schedule given my hectic work schedule and upcoming travel.

I have manged to think about the broad plan of the series. Here's list of topics I would like to talk about in no particular order.

Topic# Title Summary Interactive Session (BYOM) Approximate Time (mins) Link to Session
1 Open Science Data available for Lunar Exploration We will explore all the different lunar data and their formats that is available from different Space Agencies
including data from ISRO, NASA, CNSA, JAXA, and KARI.
Yes but BYOM is not necessary 30-45 mins
2 Explore Lunar data: Work with OHRC/TMC2 data We will download OHRC and TMC2 data from ISSDC portal and start exploring it using QGIS.
I will explain the data format and structure of the PDS4 data shared by ISRO
Yes and BYOM 60 mins
3 Explore Lunar data: Work with LRO data We will download LRO NAC and WAC files and We will use ISIS3 utils to calibrate raw EDR files and go through it step by step to create a Calibrated Dataset.
We will start exploring them using QGIS and use Qview
Yes and BYOM 60 mins
4 Introduction to SPICE Basics and Introduction to SPICE - an essential concept for understanding spacecraft positions in space and concepts around it NO 30-45 mins
5 Orbit Simulation for Chandrayaan2, SLIM Given we now know the fundamentals, we will download the ephemeris from JPL and recreate the simulation in orbitsimulator Yes and BYOM 30-45 mins
6 Advance Orbit Simulation for Chandrayaan2 and anything else Given we now know the fundamentals, we will download the SPICE and recreate the simulation in SPICE-enhanced Cosmographia Yes and BYOM 30-45 mins

In our interactive sessions, as implied, I encourage you to ask questions at any time. During the BYOM (Bring Your Own Machine) sessions, I'll assist you with downloading the necessary tools as needed.

I will update the session links after the conclusion of the sessions. These links will be shared in a separate blog post to the subscribers or registered users.

Please feel free to use the comment section below for more suggestions if you are interested any specific topic.

And If you're interested in arranging any of these sessions to be held in person, I warmly encourage you to contact me directly. I'm more than happy to discuss how we can make this happen.
